Mindfulness VR Experience—and it’s completely free!
At Spring Grove Counseling, we’re always looking for innovative ways to support your well-being. This immersive virtual reality session is designed to help you learn to claim mental health in even the most challenging moments.
These experiences are geared to help you center yourself, and explore mindfulness in a whole new way. Whether you’re new to mindfulness training or looking to deepen your personal practice, this cutting-edge experience will provide a fresh, engaging approach to managing emotions.
Our VR experience can address stress, anxiety, phobia’s, PTSD and other emotional repercussions. We’re thrilled to introduce this as part of our commitment to providing excellent counseling with a variety of tools to support your journey toward healing and growth!
Mindfulness techniques in therapy have many different benefits including:

Therapeutic intervention that uses virtual reality technology to create immersive, simulated environments for patients to experience and interact with.
We know many of us struggle with visualization and with the many distractions around us to truly be able to meditate in a beneficial way. By putting VR with mindfulness we want to help you start building tools that will help you practice mindfulness on a daily basis.
This experience should last about 20-30 minutes.
1) Schedule your appointment at the available times by calling or clicking the "schedule button." 2) Come to your appointment ready for a new experience. 3) On your appointment - the therapist will start with some breathing exercises to help you begin the process of relaxation. 4) If you are comfortable, you will put the VR set on, and the therapist will walk you through the steps of mindfulness.
We encourage all our clients to try using the VR set at least once but if you do not want to use it, we can still walk you through a mindfulness experience without the VR set.
You will be able to schedule with one of our Mindfulness VR therapists. Not all therapists are currently trained to use our Virtual Reality System.
This is a new service we're offering at Spring Grove, designed to support and provide another coping tool for individuals in managing stress and anxiety more effectively. It also allows our interns the opportunity to practice mindfulness and perfect their skills. Please make sure to provide us your feedback so we can continue to improve the experience.
