A Trauma Intensive designed to help your nervous system settle and begin processing what hasn't resolved, in a safe, structured way.
For adults and teens who feel overwhelmed, on edge, or disconnected, and want focused support instead of waiting months for relief.

Your body reacts as if the danger is still happening
Anxiety, panic, or shutdown comes out of nowhere
You feel hyper-alert, numb, or disconnected from your self or others
Talking about what happened hasn't helped, or feels too overwhelming
If time has passed but your body hasn't caught up, it doesn't mean you're broken. It means your nervous system is still protecting you.
Weekly therapy can be helpful, but for trauma work, it can sometimes feel slow or incomplete because:
There isn't enough time to fully regulate and process in one session
Sessions may stop just as your body begins to settle
Clients spend weeks stabilizing without being able to move through the trauma itself
A Trauma Intensive allows for contained, supported time so your body doesn't have to start over each week.

This is not about pushing through memories or reliving trauma.
It is about:
Creating safety and regulation first
Working at your nervous system's pace
Using trauma-informed approaches (such as EMDR or somatic methods when appropriate)
Allowing your body to process what it's been holding, without rushing
The goal is not to "fix" you.
The goal is to help your system feel safer and less reactive.
A Trauma Intensive may be a good fit if:
You've experienced a single-incident trauma or medical trauma
Trauma symptoms interfere with daily life
You feel emotionally or physically stuck despite insight or talk therapy
You want focused support rather than long-term weekly sessions alone

This intensive may not be appropriate if:
There are active safety concerns
There is untreated substance use
there is active psychosis or instability
Regulation skills are not yet in place
All trauma intensives require careful screening to ensure safety and readiness.
Step 1: Consultation
A brief call to understand your history, current symptoms, and determine whether an intensive is apporpriate.
Step 2: Preparation
Gentle pre-work focused on safety, grounding, and expectations.
Step 3: The Intensive
Half-day or full-day focused sessions paced to your nervous system.
Step 4: Integration
Clear next steps, grounding tools and follow-up support to help changes settle and last.
